WHO WE ARE:

Helen Joy Home is a full service home renovation and design firm. From concept to conception or just for a little design assistance along the way; we’re here to help.

OUR STORY:

At the age 21 I purchased my first house; the house that I thought I would make my home and live in forever. (Almost humorous to think about now.) A wall coming down to open the kitchen turned into tearing down all the walls, removing the ceilings and adding on square footage for a larger master suite. Fast forward to now, and no, I am not going to give away my age, but I am many, many house in. I am a firm believer that every house has the potential to be someones perfect home; sometimes it just requires a little imagination and a little (or a lot) of hard work.

AND WHERE THE HECK DID THAT NAME COME FROM:

Well... I’m glad you asked. Helen and Joy are the names of my two grandmothers; two women so completely opposite in personality and style but similar in their priorities for family and their love for me. Family has always been the pillar of strength and support in my life, and certainly has been in this business. Also, it’s a fun play on words because its a “hell” going through renovations but an incredible “joy” once complete. Helen and Joy created family for me, and raised me to believe that the home was the place that best represents you, your family and where the greatest memories are created.
